Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner was a Chicago native born on the 9th of December 1969 on the Gold Coast. Greiner is the second child of an uncle who is an investor in real estate as well as a mother who works as a psychologist. Greiner was just nine years old when her parents separated. She was a student of communication, journalism and film at Loyola University Chicago. Her professional career started as an author, designer and business owner. She invented an organizer made of plastic which could hold 100 pairs of earrings. The concept she developed was approved by J.C. Penney just before the holiday season. Greiner was a part of QVC in the year 2000, and developed several items. In 2012, Greiner was an official Shark Tank host. The investment she made in the company Scrub Daddy (a business that produces sponges with a distinct texture) was a huge success two years after. There were more than 2 million QVC sales in 2014.
