Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and older boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. In 2000 she moved back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. In addition to being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
