MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been impacted by his global impact. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He was a part of the team alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. Later in 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a family of musicians both his parents are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while a young child. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
