Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He began his acting career by playing in television shows like Opposite sexual sex. His fame was boosted by his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition. The Marvel universe, his role as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
